Determine When to Water When the moss ball feels noticeably lighter, or the plant shows slight wilting or drooping, it's the ideal time to rehydrate. Avoid overwatering, as excessive moisture can lead to root rot. If the plant is healthy and the moss ball feels heavy, it does not need watering. 2. Watering Method Approximately every six to eight days, place the kokedama in a container with about 100-150ml of water. Allow it to absorb water until fully saturated, then remove. 3.
