Every year on May 5th, Japan celebrates Children's Day, a time when the sky is adorned with colorful carp streamers. Families proudly display these flags outside their homes, where they dance in the wind, offering a gentle yet firm blessing to their children.
This tradition traces its roots back to China's Dragon Boat Festival. Initially, Japanese samurai used banners to signify status and honor. Later, inspired by the Chinese legend of the carp leaping over the dragon gate, they adapted their banners into the form of carp. Each carp carries with it a spirit of courage and hope, embodying the aspirations of parents who wish their children to face challenges with bravery, grow up healthy and strong, and pursue their own dreams.
The black or blue carp streamer represents the strength of the father, the red symbolizes the mother's tender care, while green and other bright colors signify the vitality and dreams of the children. As the streamers sway in the breeze, children gaze upwards, as if sensing their parents' encouragement and protection, inspiring them to overcome life's hurdles and boldly shape their future.
#FlipSocks Design
The sock body is based on the deep blue of traditional Japanese samurai attire, complemented by pink cherry blossoms and Japanese ukiyo-e style koi. Intricate lines and colors intertwine to create a dynamic scene, symbolizing resilience and courage on the path of challenges, while also reminding you to maintain focus and strength amidst adversity.
When the socks are flipped, Mount Fuji and the torii gate of a shrine come into view. The snow-capped peak of the mountain and the scene of the sun rising illustrate a journey of soaring above challenges after a strenuous effort, akin to witnessing a new perspective and hope earned through hard work and perseverance.

Reimagining Japanese cultural symbols in the ukiyo-e style, koi fish gracefully swim through rippling water scattered with cherry blossoms. The interplay of blue-gray and pink creates a distinctly Eastern color palette.

When flipped, the image of Mount Fuji and the sunrise is revealed. The vivid red sunlight paints the sky in a dreamy, ethereal pink hue. The silhouette of the torii gate, symbolizing the entrance to the divine realm, imparts a sense of abundant blessings and good fortune.

**WHY FLIPPOS?**
The original idea behind FLIPPOS Flip Socks was to create a pair of all-around compression socks suitable for office wear, transitioning seamlessly to sports after work, allowing you to wear them all day.
Considering that modern work often involves prolonged sitting or standing, leading to discomfort in the feet and calves, these compression socks address this issue by applying "gradual pressure" from the soles of the feet to the calves.
Furthermore, wearing Flip Socks during exercise can effectively reduce muscle oscillation, generate greater athletic power, and accelerate post-exercise fatigue recovery.
**Flip Length, Flip Attitude**
To accommodate any occasion and any outfit, Flip Socks feature a unique reversible compression design. They can be worn up to below the knee or folded down to the calf, instantly transforming long socks into short ones.
★ Length before flipping: Below the knee
★ Length after flipping: 18cm above the ankle

Hand washing is the preferred method to extend the product's lifespan; avoid vigorous rubbing.
If machine washing, turn the socks inside out and place them in a laundry bag. Use water below 30°C and a neutral detergent (pH between 6-8).
Do not use bleach, fluorescent brighteners, fabric softeners, or soak for extended periods in sports detergents.
Avoid powdered detergents, as they can clog the micro-gaps in the socks, potentially impairing their functionality.
If you are concerned about your laundry detergent causing fading, wash separately.
Separate dark and light colors; do not soak or dry clean.
Avoid direct sunlight and tumble drying; air drying is recommended.
