Care Guide:
Watering
*Avoid prolonged soil saturation*
Ginkgo trees have modest water requirements.
When caring for your bonsai, ensure the soil doesn't remain waterlogged for extended periods.
As a general rule, water when the soil has dried out.
*During cooler months, or when not experiencing intense heatwaves,
it's perfectly fine to delay watering even after the soil has completely dried.*
This is somewhat similar to caring for a cactus.
Once you overcome the urge to water it frequently,
it's quite an easy plant to maintain.
As it is currently in a mini pot,
during hot weather, you can place the mini pot inside a larger decorative pot
to prevent the original pot from overheating and potentially damaging the roots.
Additionally, pay attention to replenishing moisture during these times.
Water thoroughly
Ensure water drains from the bottom of the pot to confirm thorough watering.
To minimize errors, you may repeat this step twice.
