These are earrings featuring glossy EDO Tonbo Dama beads with a sky blue, two-tone spiral pattern.
These are precious Tonbo Dama made during the Edo period (around the 18th century).
The beautiful, glossy body of the beads, in a mellow sky blue hue, is adorned with three vertical patterns.
The patterns feature cream and brown spirals within transparent glass.
The sky blue portion has subtle color variations, lending it the charm of a clear stream.
(Upon close inspection, there appears to be an internal crack-like feature in one of the patterned sections on one earring, but this does not affect normal wear.)
These small, charming, and enchantingly lovely Tonbo Dama are in excellent condition!!
They possess a vibrant freshness that belies their age of approximately 200 years!
(EDO Tonbo Dama size: Height 1cm, Width 1cm)
The decorative top piece is made of silver, featuring German silver overlaid with sterling silver. The delicate craftsmanship is utterly charming!
The flower-like component is also made of sterling silver (925).
The double-spiral rings and small beads are made of Karen silver.
The earring hooks are silver, marked with "925" for sterling silver.
The connecting pins are also silver.
These are single-ear earrings, allowing you to enjoy precious Japanese antique beads.
