Some people may feel a sense of nostalgia for these plants. All of the works are coloured and made using washi paper. Since it is not varnished, you can enjoy the gentle, delicate colors and soft texture of the Japanese paper as it is. Thanks to the dome cover, you can display your items without worrying about dust. You can also remove the dome to see the texture of the washi paper up close and personal. This piece was created with the idea of creating "interior goods that tell a story." We hope you will spend some peaceful time with the frog while thinking about your own stories. ------------------------------------------------------------------ About the work This piece, which uses Japanese paper for coloring, was created using a somewhat unusual technique of "hand-torn and cut Japanese paper and pasting it onto a three-dimensional object." Additionally, the aquatic plants and leaves are made by cutting each piece out of Japanese paper and assembling them together. All of the colors in the work come from the original colors of the Japanese paper. This allows you to enjoy the gentle colors and texture unique to Japanese paper.
