This card holder opens and closes with a two-row hinge crafted solely from leather and thread. The generous use of Tochigi Leather creates a substantial thickness and rounded edges at the cuts, known as "koba." The distinctive leather hinge is a result of our proprietary research and development. It involves intricate cutting and shaping, followed by a meticulous process of carefully shaving each segment to ensure a perfect interlocking fit. The exterior is navy, while the interior is natural. This is a bi-color design combining two shades of leather. The navy features a glossy aniline finish, and the natural is a supple, undyed vegetable-tanned leather with a soft texture. Both are vegetable-tanned leathers, renowned for their exceptional aging potential. There are four pockets. Inside, you'll find two additional pockets alongside a gusseted pocket for your business cards. A versatile pocket is also included on the exterior. Please avoid water exposure, as it can cause stains. If the leather does get wet, gently dampen the entire surface with a soft towel or sponge to help prevent water spots. No special care products like leather creams or oils are necessary. Dust can be removed with a brush. As this item doesn't experience the same stress as shoes or bags during use, and the hinge mechanism prevents the leather from creasing, the natural oils from your fingertips are sufficient for its upkeep.
