A collaboration between the children's clothing brand SHOLETTE and Nandaka resulted in celebratory cards. Designed to evoke the feeling of hearing "Congratulations!" from all around, the gentle sky-blue color is stamped with elegant gold foil. ▼We have a little bigger one (M size). https://jp.pinkoi.com/product/TcRiXmpV The idea for this series arose from the aim of the designer of SHOLETTE to create cards to accompany their clothing, often chosen as gifts for occasions such as childbirth, enrollment in school, or birthdays. The collaboration came to life as the designers of both SHOLETTE and Nandaka worked back and forth between their respective studios. The main feature is that the message you write is delicately wrapped in soft feel paper, reminiscent of something precious. The left-opening bi-fold card is sewn together with three different types of paper of varying quality and thickness. Akin to a matchbook, it can be opened like a book to write or read the message. The color scheme of sky-blue for the cover and cocoa for the flyleaf paper creates an overall calm atmosphere, while the visible marigold-coloured thread on the inside and back add a bright accent. Each card is crafted by hand, with Nandaka handling the folding, foil stamping, and embossing, while SHOLETTE takes care of the sewing with precise and meticulous stitching techniques, even down to the selection of sewing thread and adjustments in stitch length.
