The combination of rigidity and softness in his painting style not only carries the colorful images and color memories of his childhood, but also forms a colorful artistic career in the future. Wu Hao was born in Nanjing. He came to Taiwan in 1949 amid the turmoil of the current situation. He served in the Air Force. In 1951, by fate, he studied painting with Li Zhongsheng, and got to know the members of the Oriental Painting Society in the future. In 1957, the Oriental Painting Society was established and held its first exhibition. It was not dissolved until after the 15th painting exhibition in 1971. In the same year, he was also discharged from the Air Force. Wu Hao, who is in his prime, has been engaged in printmaking since the 1960s. After 1978, these experiences have been transformed into nutrients for his oil painting creation.
