The edges of tenugui have traditionally been left unfinished. This is a long-standing Japanese ingenuity, allowing moisture to drain easily and dry quickly. Therefore, it is not considered a defective product. As each piece is dyed by hand, you can enjoy a unique indigo-dyed item, one of a kind in the world. The red stick is not included.
