**[Measuring Your Size]**
Use a thin string to gently measure around the slimmest part of your wrist. Do not leave any extra slack. When providing your size, you can also specify if you prefer a "snug fit" or "slightly loose."
The clasp may require a bit of force to open the first time you attach the end bead.
**[Please Understand Before Ordering]**
**◇ Each batch of beads has unique patterns. The designer will match the hand-braided cord's color to the existing beads; specific wood grain patterns cannot be chosen.**
**◇ The luster, natural oils, and fragrance of the beads will gradually dissipate with wear.**
**◇ As waxed cords have a slight molding property, you can gently stretch them to adjust the shape if they become deformed upon arrival.**
**◎ Please avoid contact with water. Remove before showering. If the item gets wet, place it in a dry area to air dry naturally.**
**◎ Not recommended for children under 3 years old. Parents, please ensure children do not put the item in their mouths.**
**◆ Hong Kong and Macau customers must provide a Chinese address (including the district).**
**◆ The quantity in stock does not represent actual ready-to-ship items. Each hand-braided cord is made to order according to the queue. **:: Origins ::**
Initially, during my daily Buddhist chanting sessions, I used a mala made from 108 pieces of Sacred Wood beads. I carried it with me when I went out, and its subtle aroma brought me a sense of peace.
My daughter often played with my mala and loved its scent. One day, I took some extra Sacred Wood beads and braided them into a bracelet for her. Seeing how she cherished it, wearing it to school as if it embodied my companionship, inspired me to share this fragrant blessing with more people.

The ancient character "系" (xì) is a homophone for "繫" (jì), meaning to tie or connect.
"A red string is tied around the feet of a couple. When they sit, it is secretly used to bind them together.
Even between enemy households, despite differences in status, or separated by vast distances and living in different lands,
Once this string is tied, they can never escape their fate."
The legend of the Matchmaker, Yue Lao, originates from a story by Li Fuyan in the Tang Dynasty's __"Continuation of Strange Tales" (續玄怪錄 • 定婚店)__.
In the story, the young man Wei Gu, guided by the old man's matchmaking, eventually married the daughter of a vegetable vendor, as foretold by the elder years later.
This passage suggests that men and women bound by this red string, regardless of whether they are enemies, have vastly different social standings, or are separated by thousands of miles, will ultimately become husband and wife.
**:: Blessed by the Incense Burner of Xiahai City God Temple ::**
While preparing the materials for the Matchmaker series,
I recalled that during a time of romantic uncertainty,
after seeking a red string from Yue Lao, I found lasting companionship with my current husband for 16 years.
This memory sparked the idea for a special trip to Taipei with my daughter. I brought my materials and visited the Xiahai City God Temple to offer prayers and have them blessed.
Here are the records of my 6-year-old daughter holding a DSLR camera to take photos for me (the first one), and the happiness we wish to share with you.

**:: Two Beads ::**
The __Matchmaker Series__ draws inspiration from the legend of Yue Lao.
Two Sacred Wood beads are tied to the ends of the hand-braided cord, forming a loop that meets and embraces each other,
__symbolizing the invisible thread of destiny that connects two souls,__
transcending all obstacles, until they grow old together, never to part.
__In Tibetan Buddhism, the Vajra knot signifies the removal of obstacles, protection, and sacred treasures.__
The main cord is woven with a delicate four-strand braid, finished with a Vajra knot connected to Buddhist traditions. Blessings are woven into each knot of the waxed cord.
Wearing it daily offers protective and prayerful energy for the sensitive soul and those around them, especially when entering places with low vibrational energy or crowded environments with mixed energies. It brings spiritual stability and happiness.

__Made with genuine 8mm Peruvian Sacred Wood beads, each retaining its unique natural wood grain.__
__Rich in Sacred Wood's natural oils, it emits a warm, comforting aroma reminiscent of redwood.__
Sacred Wood possesses a tranquil, grounding energy. It is a sacred plant originating from Central and South America, revered by the Inca Empire.
The Spanish name, Palo Santo, directly translates to "Holy Wood."
Historically, it has been highly esteemed in sacred spaces and rituals in the Western world,
with uses second only to white sage.
A Sacred Wood tree lives for approximately 80-90 years. Its branches naturally fall in the forest, undergoing a transformation over several years.
The heartwood ferments, producing oils that give it a uniquely rich aroma.
It is believed that Peruvian Sacred Wood possesses strong purifying and protective properties,
connecting the body, mind, and spirit, and cleansing spaces.

【About Garden with a Tree Hole】
There is a garden below the mountain.
In the garden, there is a tree hole, and within the tree hole, there is light.
In my heart, there is a mountain. For years, I've felt an urgent need to escape everything and return to the mountain.
A garden grew at the foot of the mountain, nurturing me. After many years, a tree hole emerged, and gradually, light appeared.
From then on, I no longer felt the strong need to return to the mountain. I am the mountain, I am the tree, I am the light.
If you happen to pass by, feel free to take a little with you, and let's talk. We can illuminate each other.
