Near the Himalayas, water-boiled wool is a delicate craft developed in Kashmir, utilizing the natural environment to combat its distinctive, severe cold. The high altitude means water boils at a lower temperature. In the morning, with the rising sun, wool items are soaked in melted plateau snow water and then heated to a boil. As evening approaches with the setting sun, the woolens are dried under the moonlight. This intricate process not only purges impurities but also causes the wool fibers to shrink and become more densely packed. Finally, women meticulously weave and embroider each piece, creating textiles with unique colors and embroidery styles.

Material
100% Himalayan Kashmir Wool + Hand-beaded
Dimensions
70 x 180 cm
(Measurements are taken horizontally by hand. Due to variations in individual measuring methods and positions, as well as fabric elasticity and starting points, there may be slight discrepancies from the actual dimensions. A margin of error of ±3cm is considered acceptable within international inspection standards.)
Recommended Cleaning Method
1. In a basin, mix an appropriate amount of laundry powder with slightly warm water until evenly dissolved. Lay the scarf flat in the basin and press it with both hands about twenty to thirty times. This allows the detergent solution to flow through the gaps between the wool fibers, preventing them from tangling.
2. Rinse using the same pressing method until the scarf is clean.
3. Gently squeeze out excess water. Lay the scarf flat on a towel or drying rack in a cool, shaded area to air dry naturally. Avoid direct sunlight, as UV rays can cause wool to turn yellow.
