Its luster will naturally diminish over time due to use, air, and environmental exposure. Deepening of the metal's color is a normal oxidation process. ・ If brass oxidizes and turns black, here are a few methods to restore its shine: - Simply use a silver polishing cloth to restore luster. The cloth turning black is normal and it should not be washed, as this will diminish its effectiveness. - Gently scrub with a toothbrush dipped in a small amount of dish soap or toothpaste, then dry. - Wipe with a clean cloth dipped in a small amount of brass polish to restore the brass's luster. Afterward, rinse with dish soap to remove any residual polish and prevent allergic reactions during wear. ・ Preserved flower jewelry is made from real flowers and can last over 5 years. Please avoid humid environments. ・ When not wearing, store in a hard case.
