They also conduct carving workshops and describe themselves as a "stamp professional." Currently residing in Taiwan, they diligently create and craft stamps in an old apartment in Taipei. Previously working as an editor for magazines and books at a publishing house, they now focus solely on stamp design. Each season, they release handmade original stamps, with their collected works published in volumes 1 through 8, featuring over 100 stamps in total. Their published books include "A Handmade Life in 12 Hours a Week," "Rubber Stamps, Open the Door!", and "12 Lessons for Beginner Rubber Stampers: Next Stamp Class." Using erasers as the primary carving material, each stamp is meticulously crafted through careful strokes. Stamp designs often draw inspiration from everyday observations, landscapes encountered during travels, and beloved interests (text / florals / geometry / nature / architecture...). These elements are then deconstructed and reassembled, employing overlapping lines and planes, complemented by minimalist primary and secondary lines, foreign text, and personal symbols to compose the stamp imagery. The designer enjoys combining stamps and colors, orchestrating solo and collaborative performances with stamps of varying sizes, and utilizing repetition. Many graphic designs are derived from fragments of stamps, extended through creative stamping combinations (e.g., postcards / washi tape).
