Born in Hsinchu, Taiwan in 1983, with a background in craft design. He has wandered the streets of Japan, experiencing how wooden art breathes warm and profound life into ancient alleyways. These objects, like fragments of time, carrying traces of history and outlines of the future, find a delicate balance between contrast and harmony, transforming into intricate works that closely connect the vision of the new generation with the simplicity of the old era. Agarwood, once crushed into powder for its fragrance, is respectfully placed in the most prominent area of homes in Japan, symbolizing vitality and light.
Agarwood originates from its place of production, pure and flawless, untouched by artificial processes such as boiling glue, drawing lines, or synthetic fragrances. It is presented in its most original form, where traditional "Gou Xiang" (incense-tracing) techniques are used to meticulously peel away the outer layer of deadwood by hand, revealing the true soul of the agarwood. This not only imbues it with eternal vitality but also subtly intertwines tradition and modern craftsmanship at your fingertips, creating a feast for the eyes and the senses. Its rich aroma is like the condensation of time, gently drawing together memories of the past and aspirations for the future, allowing them to meet and resonate within the fragrance, creating a continuous, distant, and profound experience.
