The interplay of light and dark blue colored glass expresses the waves, while gold leaf, shaped to resemble seabirds, adorns the front and back, bringing the Nami Chidori motif to life. While not heat-resistant glass, the minimized variations in thickness allow for the use of hot water. The base features a non-slip finish and is engraved with the artist's mark: Masao Nakamura.
