Hobonichi Techo Original Leather Cover - Cognac

This is a leather cover designed for the Hobonichi Techo Original. Crafted from "Pueblo" leather by Badarassi Carlo, this cover is made to be enjoyed as it ages with you. The pen holder can accommodate pens with a maximum barrel diameter of approximately 15mm, excluding the clip. Each piece is meticulously sewn by hand. This Hobonichi Techo Original cover features a pen holder when opened. The cover's insert design allows for a smoother writing experience without a noticeable gap, although the left side, secured by the front strap, may not lay perfectly flat. However, the absence of a bulky snap closure ensures a stable writing surface. Enjoy the unique texture and evolving character of Pueblo leather with this Hobonichi Techo cover. The cover closes with a strap that tucks into a slot on the front, preventing it from accidentally opening in your bag. While designed to fit the Hobonichi Techo Original snugly, it also accommodates A6 notebooks and similar items with a thickness of up to 14mm, with a little extra room for thinner items. Pueblo is a 100% vegetable-tanned, undyed leather that emphasizes the natural grain of the hide. Due to its transparent dye finish, you may observe markings such as "tora" (tiger stripes) or "chi-suji" (blood veins), which are natural signs of the cow's life. These characteristics are integral to appreciating the leather's texture and authentic feel. As the dyeing process is done with dyes, the color may subtly change with each batch, so please be aware that it might differ from the color samples. The notebook and pen shown in the images are not included. Due to the nature of natural leather, there may be slight color variations, tiger stripes, or minor scratches. Please accept these as characteristic features of vegetable-tanned leather. Please be cautious as the color may transfer when wet or if rubbed vigorously.
