This letter set features designs inspired by my artwork, created using the Bingata dyeing technique on Bashō paper, made from the Alpinia zerumbet plant that blooms in early summer in Okinawa.
Each set includes one sheet each of four designs: Alpinia zerumbet, hibiscus, manta ray, and Shisa lion-dog.
Bashō paper has a gentle hue, similar to Japanese washi paper, making it a pleasure to write on.
