Jewelry can react with sulfur dioxide in the air over time, leading to tarnishing (yellowing or blackening). If your jewelry has a special oxidized finish, avoid excessive polishing, as this may remove the intended design effect. 5. Natural stones, crystals, and pearls can be cleaned with water and then wiped dry with a soft cloth. 7.
