Incense Lore Burner

After watching the movie about Japanese tea master, Sen no RikyūOne, who incorporated wabi-sabi philosophy into tea ceremony, of finding beauty in the very simple way. It has inspired me to make this small incense burner. Simple design and humble style in color. I specially made it small in size for easy carrying around. It is good for most occasions, such as tea ceremony, tea drinking gathering, reading, meditation practices and Sutra calligraphy. They are glazed and burnt in high temperature of 1230 Celsius(= 2246 Fahrenheit). The color shades and pattern are all naturally done in the kiln. Every object is unreproducible and distinctive unique. One of a kind. Lovely presentation to you. Dimensions are approximate as the pieces are all hand made and slightly different. Each of them is one of a kind. Dimension (L x W x H): 8x8x5.5 cm I do my best to reflect my ceramics in the pictures as real as possible, but due to lighting some color variations should be taken into account.
