All processes, from kneading the clay to forming, bisque firing, glazing, and final firing, are done by hand in my studio, which is equipped with a small electric kiln and an electric potter's wheel. While mass production is not possible, each piece has its own unique expression, offering the distinctive appeal of handmade items. The item you receive will be the same as pictured. The base of the bowl has been sanded to minimize scratching your table. I explore various combinations of clays and glazes, constantly seeking new possibilities, and create a diverse range of pottery in various colors and shapes. For this reason, we apply a water-blocking treatment using a food-safe sealant before shipping, so there is no need for initial soaking (medome). As this treatment requires 2-3 days, our shipping period is set to 5 days from order placement.
