The freshwater pearls have an unusual shape that is a slanted square, and we purchased them from a wholesaler that specializes in pearls. It has a beautiful luster and shine, and the iridescent surface can be seen with the naked eye. I chose a large morganite that was teardrop-shaped and approximately 1.3mm x 8mm. There are cracks, which give the stone a unique beauty.
