silk organdy wired cloche / navy blue

It’s a cloche made out of tulle and organdy. I used tulle as the inner core of the hat to give the hat a shape. Then I covered it with organza to create a soft look. The combination of tulle and organdy made it possible for the cloche to have a shape and yet retain its transparent feature. It weighs only 25g ! It’s so light that it can make you forget that you are wearing it. The organdy is very thin that even if you lower the brim, you can still see through it I put a tiny square shell button that I bought at a popular button shop named ‘Ecrin’ in Kyoto on the left side. A wire is set around the rim so it is easy to arrange the brim. It is convenient for traveling because it can be folded and is wrinkle resistant. You can adjust the size with the Velcro tape inside.
