This is a hand dyed scarf using natural dyes only.
On the Khaki side I hand dyed with stencil dyeing katazome. We use our hand-carved paper =katagami for applying different tone colors. Katazome is one of dyeing techniques using stencil paper =katagami. The design is subtle.
Khaki dyed with Bayberry.
Yellow side dyed with Chamomile. After dyed no perfume of Chamomile.
