Handwoven Linen Stole "Harukaze *02"
Material: 95% Linen, 5% Silk
Size: Approx. 40cm x 170cm (excluding 5cm fringe)
We sourced the finest 120-count fine linen yarn from a Kyoto-based yarn wholesaler, dyed it in various colors from bleached yarn, and handwoven it into this medium-sized stole. It is so thin it appears translucent, with no stiffness or coarseness, draping softly and lightly against the body.
Weaving together four colors of linen yarn in a random arrangement of stripes and checks, accented with silk threads along the edges, creates a unique design.
The ultra-fine ramie linen yarn, half the thickness of standard linen yarn used in handweaving, is characterized by its subtle sheen and minimal fuzz. With a delicate density of 580 warp threads, it offers a remarkably supple feel. Linen stoles boast superior moisture absorption, breathability, and quick-drying properties compared to cotton, ensuring a non-sticky, refreshingly dry sensation against the skin. This makes it suitable for three seasons, from spring through autumn.
*Creases may form during shipping. Gently steaming the stole will restore its smoothness.
*Please let us know if you would like complimentary gift wrapping.
