Vest -- Soaring Posture Cotton Linen

I've always wanted to create a vest that could be worn throughout the year. One day, I saw a vest my mother had sewn herself; it was so practical and utterly charming. So, I sketched out a rough design. Then, I began crafting a small pattern. Deconstructing the vest's structure, it essentially came down to drawing two patterns. This allowed for a clear and precise style to be sewn, ensuring the pattern maker understood my vision. /// Before sending it to print, I thought of a keyword. This is a habit of mine when creating new clothing. With the theme established, there wouldn't be too many deviations. And the keyword is: "Wearable until you're a grandma." It reminded me of my mother's vest, and also of myself. /// Successfully completed, with perfectly executed double-sided fine stitching, giving this vest two distinct looks. (You can wear it on either side, if you wish.) /// Embroidered with a motif inspired by a walk: -- a soaring posture. It also feels like these days, a time for reflection and new beginnings.
