The Canelé Flower Series - Earrings --------------------- ‧ Materials: 925 Sterling Silver / Brass (ear posts are all sterling silver) ‧ Dimensions: Flower approximately 5mm * 7mm, total length with earring post approximately 2cm --------------------- The most widely known origin story of the canelé pastry points to Bordeaux, France. As an important wine-producing region 🍷, Bordeaux utilizes a significant amount of egg whites in the "clarification" process of winemaking. The leftover egg yolks, serendipitously, were then used to create the canelé. We found the coincidence charming when naming this collection. Around that time, we were experimenting with new designs, and would often trim small, cubic centimeters of wax blocks from the edges.
