Wisteria Tumbler — Edo Glass (Seiran Blue)

A tumbler engraved with wisteria blossoms on domestically produced cased (overlay) glass. When you pour a drink, the wisteria motif on the inside appears to ripple gently, creating an elegant and refreshing impression. Whether you use it for water, shochu, sake, or wine, this glass may make your usual drink taste just a bit better. Point Cased (overlay) glass consists of layers of different-colored glass. By carving away only the colored layer, various patterns and gradients are produced. This technique also creates subtle steps that give the glass a unique tactile feel. Because the design is created solely by engraving rather than surface printing, the color will not fade from washing or with age.
