A Glimpse of Memory My fondness for walnut shortbread cookies stems from Grandma. It was her favorite snack, a cherished memory. A small neighborhood store sold a pack of six for 40 NT dollars. She would carefully retrieve a bill from her coin purse, a worn-out 50 NT dollar note, folded in half, then in half again.
