Made by Japanese KINTO specially invited designer Fumie Shibata, the earthen pot gets rid of the traditional cumbersome and simple feeling, and displays a unique style with simple and neat lines.
Whether used for stewing or boiling, its excellent heat preservation properties can make the cooked food more delicious.



[About the designer – Fumie Shibata]
Designer Fumie Shibata established DESIGN STUDIO S in 1994, focusing on industrial design. The design field is wide ranging, from electronic products, daily groceries, medical equipment to hotel space design, and is famous for its extensive and delicate design style of daily necessities.

Many works have won design awards, such as Mainichi Design Award (Japan), iF Design Award (Germany), Red dot design award (Germany), etc.



[Advantages of low water absorption rate]
Water absorption indicates the degree of water penetration into the pot, and KAKOMI has very low water absorption, making it easy to keep clean and preventing odors from remaining. Even if you cook a pot full of spices, there will be no smell left after washing.





[Applicable stoves] Gas stoves, black crystal stoves, halogen stoves, microwave ovens, ovens and other stoves.



[Suggestions for cooking rice – take the attached measuring cup as an example]
1 cup of rice is about 150g, add 200ml of water, that is, 1 cup + 20ml of water for cooking
2 cups of rice are about 300g, add 400ml of water, that is, 2 cups + 40ml of water for cooking

[Internal baseline pot]
There is a water volume reference scale on the inside of the rice cooker. The bottom line is the line for adding 1 cup of rice to water, and the top line is the line for adding 2 cups of rice to water. It can also be adjusted according to the type of rice and personal preferences.
