Important Notice Before Purchase|
This product uses a liquid material called kin-yu, which contains gold or platinum. Each piece is meticulously hand-painted by artisans using a brush and then kiln-fired. Due to variations in paint density, coating thickness, brushstroke, and firing conditions, slight differences in texture and finish may occur—these are key features of this handcrafted series.
Because of this traditional technique, the gold and silver-colored areas may not be perfectly smooth or completely uniform in color. The back of each piece is lined with vegetable-tanned leather, which will develop a natural patina over time. Please understand these characteristics before making your purchase.
About the Brand|
Exquisite Craftsmanship – Only One in Three Pieces Is Successfully Completed
Founded by artist Yuta Miyazaki in the renowned ceramic town of Arita, eb2 is a jewelry brand that fuses the traditional artistry of Arita porcelain with sometsuke (blue-and-white) and akae (red overglaze) painting techniques. Each piece is entirely hand-painted by artisans, resulting in a truly unique work of wearable art. Due to the precision and difficulty of the process, only about one in every three pieces is successfully completed, making them highly collectible.
Worn by Japanese Royalty – Princess Kako
In 2024, Princess Kako of the Japanese Imperial Family wore a piece from this collection. Her graceful and stylish appearance captured national attention, igniting a fresh wave of Arita-inspired contemporary aesthetics throughout Japan.
