Bonami’s “Colorful Notebook” (Coptic Stitch Binding) is crafted using a classic handbinding technique. Made simply from paper and thread, it celebrates the natural beauty of its materials. A sunny beach, raindrops tapping on a window. The evening sky blending into the horizon, trees swaying in the wind… Moments from everyday life, rich with color, are gathered into this small notebook. Each “Colorful Notebook” is individually handmade. It is a hand-bound notebook created by folding pages by hand and stitching them together with waxed linen thread. The cover uses paperboard—normally employed as the core material in bookbinding and cartonnage—deliberately left in its natural state. The inner pages are created by randomly selecting and combining colors from a palette of 50 shades of Rasha paper.
