Small vintage English bowl with floral design made by Aynsley.
This company was founded by J. Aynsley, who already had a ceramics factory, for the benefit of his son H. Aynsley. In 1952 the business was acquired by Rudolph Asher Ltd, but the company continued to trade as H Aynsley & Co. They closed their doors in the 1970s.
The mark at the bottom of this item was first used in the 1950s. This bowl is undamaged with some small glazing production flaws, surface marks, as well as a little wear on the gold rim. The photographs are a part of the description.
