【Glaze Introduction】
Our studio currently uses electric kilns for gas reduction firing.
The glaze colors offered to students are primarily our commonly used celadon glazes.
The "celadon" green is achieved using small amounts of iron.
We utilize local Tainan clay, personally collected, impurities removed, and sifted. This is then added to the glaze in varying proportions to create our unique celadon glaze.
Celadon can sometimes appear blue, and sometimes green—perhaps this is the charm of celadon, as the light determines the hue of the ware.
