This is an SDGs-conscious piece of jewelry featuring *kintsugi* on upcycled pottery from Matsuunzan Kiln (Shounzan Gama), a pottery studio located in Hagi City, Yamaguchi Prefecture. We reuse broken or chipped pottery that would otherwise be discarded, apply *kintsugi*, and transform them into accessories. The concept behind these creations is to bring the beauty of nature and Japan's enduring traditions closer to you, transforming them into modern accessories that connect to the future and unlock new possibilities. We've paired deep indigo pottery fragments, striking in their elegance, with freshwater pearls. It is a unique Japanese traditional repair technique that mends broken or chipped pottery and porcelain using lacquer and gold powder. This work is created using a modern, simplified *kintsugi* technique. Unlike traditional *urushi* (lacquer) made from the sap of the lacquer tree, this process uses adhesive for the initial bonding.
