If the leather becomes saturated with water, dry it as soon as possible and reapply oil for protection. Allowing it to air dry naturally can cause the leather fibers to shrink, deform, and harden. 2. To prevent dark water stains if water drips on the leather: Use pure water wet wipes, or a damp (not dripping) paper towel or napkin to evenly wipe the entire affected leather surface. Dry with a cool air setting. If only hot air is available, maintain a distance of at least thirty centimeters from the leather. After drying, apply leather oil for maintenance. 3. Avoid prolonged exposure to sunlight. 4. In addition to the warmth and oils from your hands, which gradually impart a natural warmth and luster to the leather, regular care with a dry cloth followed by leather oil is recommended. 5. Mold spots on leather are formed over time from dust interacting with humidity. If storing leather goods for extended periods, first wipe off dust with a dry cloth, then wrap in a dust bag, kraft paper, or cotton cloth (can be cut from an old white cotton t-shirt) and store in a well-ventilated area. Frequent handling of the leather (to prevent dust and moisture buildup) can also reduce the chance of mold, similar to the principle of "a rolling stone gathers no moss." 6. Avoid using cleaning agents containing alcohol. **About Natural Leather:** During the cattle's growth, marks from insect bites may occur. We make an effort to avoid obvious scars during production.
