Paper, 2025 “Paper Layers of Thought” as if accidentally surfaced from the accumulation of living time. The artist creates three-dimensional expressions like natural objects by applying the process of making recycled paper and other paper that retains traces of thoughts and feelings, such as notes, scribbles, and drawings. The -Confusion series captures the moment when past prototypes, shreds, etc. intersect with the newly accumulated paper layers. Unlike concrete sculptures, these works have a texture similar to that of strata or rock surfaces, and are lighter than their appearance would suggest, allowing them to be easily pierced and worked with ease. It can also be used as a display for small items such as dried flowers, silver jewelry, nail tips, etc. Light and sturdy, it is easy for anyone to handle. Even if it should be dropped or chipped, the possibility of injury is very low and it can be safely displayed. Also, it may chip, but we hope that you will enjoy it as it changes over time.
