It is further embroidered on top of a double hand-made quilt. The botanical pattern that seems to appear in Hayao Miyazaki's animation is the traditional pattern of "pomegranate" from Suzani* in Uzbekistan. This means "symbol of prosperity". SUZANI~ is an embroidered fabric that has been passed down from generation to generation among the nomads of Central Asia. The side hats are luxuriously made of precious ethnic fabrics, and you can enjoy the charm of very delicate handicrafts. The top and brim of the hat are made of pure Indian cotton to highlight the beautiful pattern of the side crown. I changed the indigo dyed [Oshima Communicator] with beautiful and delicate pattern ★ into a rope and put it on as an accent. ★ A traditional Japanese craft with a history of about 1300 years, it is counted as one of the "Three Greatest Textiles of the World". Amami Oshima (Kagoshima Prefecture) is the main producer (origin) of this silk fabric, which is called "Queen of Kimono" and represents the national costume of Japan, and becomes a symbol of the identity of the wearer. It has an elegant luster, is soft and light, and does not wrinkle easily.
