This results in a fabric that embraces 'lightness,' 'softness,' and a 'wabi-sabi' aesthetic that ages beautifully rather than deteriorating. We cherish this natural, relaxed texture. Because our fabric is woven on shuttle looms in Kurashiki, some over 100 years old, you might notice occasional "weaving flaws," which can appear like small frays. These are unavoidable with such vintage machinery. While we strive to minimize these by thorough inspection at the factory and careful fabric cutting, and by placing them in less conspicuous areas if found, they cannot be entirely eliminated due to the nature of the machines.
