This laundry pin brooch is made from blue marble wedding beads, generous bells and lapis lazuli, and afghan parts.
Wedding beads are also called light bulb beads or teardrop beads. These are from the early 20th century.
Since it is an old item, there are small scratches, but please enjoy the antique charm including those!
It has a metallic shine and is hexahedral in shape.
(Wedding bead size: length 2.5cm, diameter 1.4cm)
It is paired with cut lapis lazuli.
The bells are a little crooked and have uneven coloring. They have a really handmade feel to them, which is adorable!
The paisley-like parts were imported from Afghanistan. They are old items that were used for ethnic costumes and accessories.
I used vintage laundry pins that arrived from America.
It was originally used in America to manage laundry.
