Continuing the popular stamped patterns from last year,
we introduce a new French-style wrap skirt.
A relaxed, effortless silhouette paired with vibrant stamped prints.
The light cotton-linen blend material
makes the wearer feel as cute and free as a little sprite.
It can be crossed and tied as you prefer,
or worn as a casual short cover-up.

**【Production Team: Women of the Bumika Project】**
https://tramper.tw/wp-content/uploads/2021/05/S__24674423-1.jpg.webp
This batch of clothing was co-created by women from workshops within the "Bumika Project," all currently residing in Varanasi, the city on the Ganges River in India.
This is our first production run in collaboration with them. We also brought in professional tailors from the city to gradually teach them how to complete these more complex garments.
The entire process, from teaching and development to revisions, took nearly a year. This garment has navigated the complete pandemic period, making its completion a truly emotional moment!

**【Introduction to Stamped Dyeing Craft】**
Tramper's garments are the culmination of centuries of Indian craftsmanship.
Each piece of stamped fabric is entirely handmade by Indian artisans. The process is not only time-consuming but also relies on the artisans' exceptional skills and boundless creativity to produce a truly unique piece of stamped fabric.
Let Tramper guide you through the special craft of Indian stamped dyeing!

**〔Step 1 - Dyeing the Fabric〕**
Indians use natural plant-based dyes. After hundreds of repeated immersions, the originally white cotton fabric is dyed a special color. Then, a hot dye solution with special ingredients is prepared, and the fabric is boiled in it.
Finally, it is sun-dried for two days until completely dry. The base color of the stamped fabric is now complete!

**〔Step 2 - Carving the Stamps〕**
Before stamping, there's a crucial step: creating the stamps!
The intricate patterns on the stamped fabric are applied using wooden stamps! These stamps are the work of specialized carvers, who meticulously etch the vibrant essence of India into each stamp, bringing it to us from afar.

**〔Step 3 - Beginning the Stamping〕**
Once the fabric's base color and the stamps are ready, it's time to begin stamping!
Stamped dyeing is a craft that requires intense focus and skill. Beyond precisely controlling the spacing between patterns, it demands extensive practice to master the right pressure! Each artisan must undergo thousands of hours of training before becoming a master.

**〔Step 4 - Garments Made by Women's Workshops〕**
The stamped fabric is then transformed into garments by the women's workshops partnered with the Bumika Project. After nearly a year of development and learning, they are now capable of operating independently and consistently producing high-quality garments.

**〔Step 5 - Complete!〕**
Finally, it's finished!
Now, it's ready to accompany Taiwanese people through the hot summer, shining brightly in every corner of Taiwan!
