Vintage embossed bone china bowl from the Colleeen series made by Royal Albert.
Thomas C. Wild bought the Albert Works in Longton, Stoke on Trent in 1895. This factory had been named after Prince Albert, Queen Victoria's Consort. It specialised in tea, breakfast and dessert pieces with floral designs, and it soon gained a reputation of producing beautiful china tea & breakfast sets, firmly establishing the Royal Albert name.
The Colleen series was in production from 1986 to 1992. This item is in undamaged, fairly good condition with surface marks in the center due to usage. The photographs are a part of the description.
