This is a functional micro-miniature made inside a
real peanut shell. I’ve built a tiny circuit where three
cars (blue, yellow, and pink) actually move thanks to a manual gear and a magnet.
What’s inside?
A landscape at sunset under a full moon, a winding
road, and three cars that you can "drive" by turning
the gear. It’s a mix of my passion for Medieval
Manuscripts and the mechanical style of 90s
playsets like Micro Machines.
Technical Details:
Movement: Manual gear-driven with a magnet.
Materials: Wood, paper, cardboard, acrylics,
cyanoacrylate, putty and epoxy resin...
Origin: Hand-crafted in my workshop in Barcelona
(Bon Pastor).
Size: It’s a real peanut, so it’s very, very small.
About me:
I’m a Graduate in Humanities with a Master's in Documentary Heritage. I apply the same rigor and patience of ancient book-making to these tiny shells.
No two are ever the same.
