These beads date back to approximately the 7th to 11th centuries. Over time, they have developed subtle textures on their surface, creating a captivating patina. Their mesmerizing, almost mystical color evokes the feeling of gazing at the sky from the bottom of a lake. As antique items, they may bear minor imperfections from age, but these do not affect their wearability. While this type of bead often shows significant wear, these particular beads are in excellent condition, showcasing their inherent beauty. The origins of beads known as Indo-Pacific beads are said to date back to the 2nd century BC. These specific beads are excavated artifacts from Indonesia, remarkably from around the 10th century, making them over 1000 years old! The cap above the Javanese bead is also crafted from silver. Each plump silver bead is individually handmade. The floral-inspired components above and below are made of silver 925. The double helix hoop and the small beads in between are Karen silver.
