Wire frame embroidered brooch

All are hand embroidered. I create original designs using the "Kogin embroidery" technique that is traditional in the Aomori region of Japan, arranged in my own way. The pattern is created by stitching the thread horizontally only and then layering it vertically. I adjusted the design several times to determine the stitching positions so that the flower lover and butterflies would look balanced, and tried to create a small world within a round shape.
