After purchase, you can purify them by circling them three times around a temple's incense burner before wearing. Adherents of any religion can purify and bless them according to their own practices. *Waxed cords are more durable than traditional Chinese knotting threads, allowing for prolonged wear without needing to be removed. *They are water-resistant, so you can wear them while bathing or sleeping. ♡ **Please read the following carefully to measure your wrist circumference.** Before placing your order, please ensure you measure your wrist circumference snugly against your wrist! **Snug to your wrist! (With a soft tape measure, wrap it snugly around your wrist just behind the prominent wrist bone.) Do not add extra room yourself; do not leave a finger's width, and do not loosen it yourself. Our standard production adds 0.7–0.8 cm of looseness to your snug wrist measurement. (Please use a soft tape measure or thin string to gauge and consider this.) The bracelet will be slightly loose and can slide a little! However, everyone's perception of tightness varies, so please measure with a soft tape measure or thin string to assess. E.g., Snug wrist measurement of 14.5 cm + 0.7 cm looseness = 15.2 cm total length. If you prefer a looser fit and don't like it to be snug against your wrist, we suggest adding 0.9–1.5 cm of looseness. Please consider your desired looseness and proactively contact us via message or leave a note with your comfortable **total length in centimeters**. **If there are no special notes or total length specifications, the default will be an additional 0.7 cm of looseness added to your wrist measurement!
