The collar is hand-stitched with strong "Ritza" polyester thread and should last a long time. The edges are dyed & burnished, so they become smooth and round for more comfort on your dog’s neck. All our collars are buffed with a layer of special protective wax. The cast ring is made of quality solid brass. Use a soft measuring tape or string: 1. Measure the circumference around the largest part of your dog's head in front of the ears and under the chin.
