The precise control over the thickness of each glaze layer, combined with firing at 1260°C for 20 hours of intense heat, allows the glazes to contract and flow within the kiln, forming the intricate patterns and fluid movement reminiscent of peacock feathers. The challenge in its creation lies in the delicate balance of glaze thickness and temperature control. Too thin or insufficient heat will prevent the "peacock display" pattern from forming, while too thick or excessive heat can cause the glaze to run onto the base, fusing the cup and its stand together. Even ambient temperature fluctuations can influence the final outcome. Despite years of dedicated study, the subtle variations remain difficult to predict with absolute precision. It is precisely this unpredictability that imbues each finished piece with its unique value. It is hoped that this artwork will inspire everyone to embrace hope when facing challenges, to persevere with unwavering effort, and to one day unfurl their own beautiful "feathers," illuminating their lives with brilliance!
