Loewe Flamenco Mini (⁎⁍̴̛ᴗ⁍̴̛⁎), 100% authentic pre-owned, handmade in Spain from approximately the 80s-90s! The leather is Loewe's signature NAPPA, the highest grade of leather! The entire handbag is incredibly, incredibly soft! This is the predecessor to the recent mini Flamenco bag! The embossed LOGO on the bottom right is beautifully understated yet prominent. Loewe's colors are always unique, unlike any other brand. Each color was produced in limited quantities back then, so once sold, they cannot be restocked in the same shade. The leather is lambskin, even softer and lighter than in newer models. Newer bags use cowhide, making them thicker and the drawstring prone to loosening. The shop owner's favorite brand is Loewe, but personally, I feel the quality of the leather in the brand's recent products has declined somewhat, perhaps due to a shift in market positioning and the addition of many new elements. New products tend to have thicker, heavier leather. Once you touch an older piece, you'll understand. The texture of the new products is completely different from vintage pieces from past eras. The Nappa lambskin from the old days was truly as smooth as a baby's skin (I sound like a pervert...|||||), but it was genuinely soft, light, and thin, with a weight so negligible it felt like nothing when worn! When I first started buying pre-owned bags, I was afraid of encountering fakes. However, pre-owned shops in Japan told me that Nappa lambskin items are impossible to fake. You can tell the authenticity just by touching this type of leather; its lightness and softness are something artificial or synthetic leather cannot replicate! Only genuine Nappa can achieve this level of softness! No exaggeration, it's the softest I've ever felt, surpassing any other leather! This is a rare mini size! Super cute, a small drawstring bag! (A friend joked that if you have kids, you could do matching parent-child outfits.) Although it's a mini size, the capacity is definitely not small; it's not a "little useless bag." It's perfectly adequate for your basic essentials. You can fit a short wallet, cardholder, keys, phone, and sanitiser. When filled, the bag puffs up, looking even cuter! The interior has ☑ 2 main compartments, ☑ 1 small zipped pocket, and ☑ 1 open small pocket. The strap is adjustable for ☑ crossbody or ☑ shoulder wear. If needed, we can also add extra holes to shorten it for ☑ underarm carry. Recommended for petite individuals (or children!), it's incredibly adorable! . . ⚐⚑˒˒The bag is in excellent condition. While not pristine, it is clean. The color is a coffee/toffee shade, a beautiful earthy tone. The embossed large logo on the front is stunning, and the small size of the bag makes the logo even more prominent! The front and back of the bag have no scratches, indentations, scuffs, or peeling. There is some normal wear on the edges of the four corners. There are a few faint color marks on the back. Other than that, there are no significant peeling, scratches, scuffs, or major wear. There are no other obvious flaws, and because the bag is cinched when used, the flawed areas are almost invisible. The shoulder strap is adjustable, and extra holes can be added if needed. The hardware adjustment studs show no gold loss or oxidation; they remain bright and golden. The edges of the strap show some signs of use but are not too noticeable; you'd only see them upon close inspection. It doesn't look particularly old. The interior is a brown satin lining, clean with no loose threads or discoloration. The brand's gold tag is very golden, with no oxidation or color change. The small interior zipped pocket functions smoothly, and the zipper pull has the brand's engraved logo. The leather throughout the bag is intact, clean, and possesses a natural sheen. Overall, there are no major flaws that affect its use or are immediately apparent. The signs of wear are minimal. It comes with its original dust bag. The key highlight is the small size combined with the large logo! Most pre-owned items from the past were ✦ handmade. In the past, there were no machines, only the warmth of craftsmanship. The artisans of major brands were many times more meticulous than machines; every step was exquisitely crafted! However, most processes today are machine-made and then assembled by hand. Machine-made parts lack the fine detail. The most direct way to see this is to compare the genuine monograms of vintage pieces with the "revived" monogram patterns of recent years from various brands. The level of detail in the monogram patterns alone is completely different. If you love monograms, you must seek out pre-owned items! Truly! In terms of style, pieces from older eras are more ✦ simple, timeless, and enduring. Many new designs today are actually revivals of old styles. However, new models are priced higher than old ones. Furthermore, new designs are usually based on old models with added or altered elements. Ultimately, the designs become more complex than those of the past. I believe as you grow older, you'll understand one thing: the simpler, the more lasting!! The quality of raw materials in older models is superior to newer ones. Anyone who understands ✦ leather will see it; the materials used in new models are mostly inferior to older ones. This is mainly because the cost of high-quality raw materials is too high and supplies are scarce today. Additionally, many brands had very high standards for finished products back then. The easiest way to see the difference between new and old is through the ✦ hardware. The hardware on many new models oxidizes and discolors after just one or two years of use, but this is rarely the case with older models. Besides the high-quality materials and meticulous craftsmanship, hardware from earlier eras was plated with real gold! Therefore, even vintage bags produced as early as the 60s or 70s still have shiny hardware today! Among the brands I know, none of the new models available today use gold plating for their hardware. Many people say vintage bags are a form of alternative investment; they rarely depreciate and often increase in value. This is because the number of pre-owned bags in good condition on the market is decreasing, and with each passing day, there are fewer available. Thus, they become more expensive. Moreover, certain brands periodically increase their prices, and each increase drives up the prices in the pre-owned market. Additionally, with the recent popularity of vintage items among Japanese and Korean celebrities, once a particular model is seen on a celebrity, its price skyrockets. Or, if a brand releases its own modified revival, the price of that model or similar styles will increase dramatically! Therefore, with vintage items, it's truly a case of "buy early, enjoy early; buy late, pay more" (this isn't an advertising slogan... it's the truth in the pre-owned world...). This is based on personal experience; there are many series I regret not getting into earlier... I couldn't find them, and even if I did, the price was astronomical. As an extra gift with your pre-owned bag order, I'll include some leather conditioning oil (ᐢ.ˬ.ᐢ). I use it myself, so I'll portion some into a small container for you. Apply a small amount to genuine leather for cleaning and to add moisture, but you don't need to apply it after every use. Just do it periodically. I usually take the opportunity to condition my bags when I'm organizing my closet during seasonal changes (so it's quite an undertaking each season...|||).
