These are marquetry Post and Clip-on earrings, a collaboration with the Shokayo kiln of the Hossōji-yaki pottery.
They are made by repurposing items that did not meet quality standards during the firing process.
With a deep appreciation for wood, we've used timbers from demolished homes and scraps from construction sites, creating geometric patterns that highlight the natural texture of the wood.
The finish is achieved with a 100% natural wax blend of beeswax and plant-derived oils.
Care Instructions
If the luster fades or scratches become noticeable, apply a plant-based oil such as olive or camellia oil, then buff with a dry cloth to restore the sheen.
Wood Types: Crafted with available materials including cherry, chestnut, cypress, beech, oak, cedar, mizume, ebony, and more.
Metal Fittings: Titanium, Silicone
We offer complimentary exchanges to clip-on earrings.
