This book, 'I have nothing to say but', showcases 32 pieces selected from Firstofmay Studio's very first mini sketchbook. The works primarily depict the artist's imagined girls rendered in black ink and fine-liners, intertwined with cats, flowers, foliage, and a touch of melancholy. ▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬ Consider this Firstofmay Studio's first official art collection. As design is the primary craft, the printing and binding have been meticulously handled. The cover art was conceived with great care. Simple linework of a woman allows the title to become her attire. Hot stamping and embossing lend a richer, layered effect. The cover is printed on a grey, aesthetically pleasing paper, complemented by a fluffy, textured rice paper for the inner pages. The booklet is bound with O-rings, allowing it to be hung on the wall.
